Our online exhibition shares the objects that Jewish people took while moving from the USSR and post-Soviet countries to Chicagoland, USA.

The participants of the exhibition are people of different generations. Down below you will find video interviews with them, audio recordings of conversations about immigration, the pictures of the objects, and the transcripts of conversations - the history and prehistory of big changes.

Our mission is

- to see what kind of objects people took and therefore valued.

- Compare the values of several generations.

- Make a contribution to the Russian-speaking Jewish modern history.

- Increase mutual understanding and friendship between the post-Soviet Jewish people and all the others.
